Lismore is unique in having its own Festival of Travel Writing.
The Immrama festival has been dedicated to the art of Travel Writing, Good Music, and Fine Entertainment.
The 2011 festival will be held from the June 9th - June 12th

Fishing is permitted seven days a week during the hours of daylight. Worm fishing is not permitted during September.

The Booley House - Ballyduff.
The Booley House show is a feast of traditional Irish culture and
entertainment featuring local music, song, dance and story-telling. Since
it's inception in 1993, it has developed into 90 minutes of fast-paced and
uninterrupted entertainment from their cast of over 70. It runs every
Wednesday night in July and August in nearby Ballyduff Upper, but make sure
to arrive early for their complimentary tea and locally made cakes. See
